- Very high reliability. Frame-type block and dry cylinder liners with a high degree of strengthening; more than 45,000 h of bench testing and over 50,000,000 km of vehicle road testing accumulated.

Noise 2-3 dB(A) below competing products: a drum-shaped block skirt gives a stiff, low-vibration block that greatly cuts noise; a rear gear train with high-precision shear gears runs smoothly and further reduces mechanical noise; multiple-injection technology greatly reduces combustion noise.
- Very low fuel consumption. Multiple high-efficiency measures – optimised combustion, revised camshaft profile and a high-efficiency turbocharger – give a low fuel consumption rate, with common-condition fuel consumption 3%-5% below competing products; the low-consumption band covers the 950-1400 r/min working range, making it more economical.
- Strong power. Maximum torque 2500 N·m suits most operating conditions in China, overtaking and acceleration are good, and a smaller rear-axle ratio can be chosen while still keeping the power.
